I started programming in early Spring 2005, beginning with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, then quickly moving into PHP and MySQL. Soon after, I changed my major from Mechanical Engineering to Computer Science and never looked back. Since then I’ve gained experience in Python, Java, and C++, though JavaScript and PHP remain my favorite programming languages. I don’t consider myself an expert at anything in the industry, since there are always new technologies to learn and elements of existing ones to discover.
The two largest projects I am working on are Crindigan and NextShout. Crindigan is a PHP-based web RPG system, built on the Solar Framework. NextShout is a free vBulletin product that adds a feature-rich, highly bandwidth-efficient shoutbox to the forum. You can learn more here.
